SILARUS, a French société par actions simplifiée unipersonnelle with share capital of €500, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 104 086 046, whose registered office is at 44 rue Larmeroux, 92170 Vanves, France ("Silarus", "we", "us", or "our"), provides information technology consulting services and also develops or publishes games and related digital services. Silarus is the data controller for the processing described in this Privacy Policy. This Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit our websites, contact us, engage us for consulting work, or use a game or other digital service that refers to this Policy (together, the "Services").
A particular game, platform, or consulting engagement may include an additional privacy notice. If that notice conflicts with this Policy, the more specific notice applies to that Service.
1. Data we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details, such as your name, business email, and telephone number.
- Business and project information supplied when you request or receive consulting services, including correspondence and support requests.
- Account details, feedback, survey responses, or content you choose to provide through a game or digital service.
- Transaction and billing information. Payment card details are normally processed by the relevant payment provider or app store rather than by us.
Information collected automatically
Depending on the Service, we may receive technical and usage information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, language, approximate region, access times, crash diagnostics, security logs, game progress, session activity, achievements, and interactions with features. A game may also use device, installation, or advertising identifiers when permitted by applicable law and your device choices.
Information from third parties
We may receive information from app stores, platform providers, sign-in providers, payment processors, analytics or crash-reporting providers, advertising partners, and business clients. These providers process data under their own policies as well as any agreement they have with us.
2. Why we use personal data
We process personal data to:
- respond to enquiries and provide consulting or support services;
- perform contracts, manage projects, invoices, and client relationships;
- operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our games and websites;
- save game progress, provide features, and administer accounts where applicable;
- understand performance and usage, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms;
- send service notices and, with consent where required, marketing messages;
- comply with accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where European data-protection law applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business and Services, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Our current corporate website does not use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may process essential network and security information to deliver and protect the site. Games and other Services may use local storage, SDKs, analytics, crash reporting, or advertising technologies. Where required, we will request consent and provide controls in the relevant Service or on your device.
4. How we share data
We may share personal data with:
- hosting, infrastructure, analytics, communications, support, accounting, payment, and security providers acting for us;
- app stores, gaming platforms, and service partners needed to deliver a game;
- advertising partners, only as described in the relevant game notice and subject to consent where required;
- professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and public authorities;
- a buyer, investor, or successor in connection with a reorganisation, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business; and
- other parties when you ask us to share data or when the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data for money.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, and supplementary security measures.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to satisfy contractual, tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Retention periods vary by data type and Service. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In France, you may contact the CNIL. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Children
Our consulting services are not directed to children. Each game is offered subject to its age rating and platform rules. Where parental consent is required by law, a child may use the relevant Service only with that consent. If you believe a child provided personal data unlawfully, please contact us.
9. Third-party services
Our Services may link to or integrate third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we encourage you to review them.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
